I try to balance my study time with mental breaks to allow myself to digest the information I just learned before going onto the next section. Lastly, I love food and, when I can, will travel to an entire different city just to try a specific restaurant. That said, I say things out loud and try to explain the concepts to myself as I’m doing it for the students. I always try to apply what I learned to real life as much as I can because I strongly believe that practice makes perfect.
